A New Year's Revolution

That's not a typo

The TV Host announced the upcoming special program would feature “awards being given to average Americans,”

The COVID article read “...not understood by everyday Americans.”

A political analysis reported that “Joe and Jane Sixpack will never have the funds to...”

Are you 'average'?

Are you just 'common’? "‘Everyday'?

Is your name Sixpack?

Me neither. So why do they do it? Where did these insults come from?

Since you're reading and comprehending this, you’re certainly not 'average'. But anyone subjected to a constant litany of condescending propaganda is likely to develop a problem with their self-esteem. Life is tough enough to be battling your Outer You from convincing the the Inner You are just fine.

Those using such screeds have their own problems. Serious one, too:  megalomania, egotism, sociopath come to mind. And politicians – but that's redundant.

What's the point? What happened to “Live and Let Live” as a basic DOS for Society? 

Simple. It got trampled by Government and Force.

At first, Gov, our Gov, seemed like great idea!

Tommy Jefferson and the Founding Dads thought people like the Sixpacks had rights to life, liberty and property ownership. TJ's Declaration declared that Governments 'instituted among men', 'get their just powers from the consent of the governed' for the express purpose of securing these 'inalienable rights'.

Well…it looked good on parchment.

It didn't take long for the famous aphorism of a yet unborn Lord Acton to become reality: “Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely”. Then some of those Powdered Wigs who boldly signed Jefferson's Declaration and even took part in pounding out the Constitution, jumped off the new American Freedom and Liberty Bandwagon to violate the very principles many fought, suffered and died for. How could that happen? Where was George Washington? Patrick “Give Me Liberty or...” Henry?  Well, Pat did the best one man could. President G and 13,000 local troops put in a personal appearance to water down the Whiskey Rebellion. And while the folks appreciated Washington's non-violent intervention, the action plainly demonstrated the New National Government would do whatever it took to deal with folksy resistance to Federal law – even when 'tax is theft'.

So much for 'the consent of the governed.'

Government's incremental separation from the compelling principles in the founding docs incrementally picked up speed and severity. After 247 years of government flexing its monopoly on force against citizens, their rights and their property, from the televised mass slaughter of Branch Davidians to unconstitutional mandates, lockdowns, lies and deaths throughout the “Covid pandemic”, we've arrived at the point of practiced 'lawfare', the 'weaponization of government' against citizens, living proof of Lord Acton's prescience that 'absolute power corrupts absolutely.”

Through apathy born of ignorance, the hubris of politicians, fertilized by an absence of any legal accountability, rewarded with re-election to power, bestowing upon themselves self-assumed life time benefits and 'special privileges'. With the spotlight and fawning worship of the MSM, Celebrities are created out of mere Public Servants. Only those with focus and discernment can easily observe the altered egos and condescension of 'elected officials' and unelected bureaucrats.

We are conditioned to believe these are not 'average” or ‘ordinary Sixpack' Americans in Flyover Country. These are our Masters, Owners, Rulers! To treat them as ‘public servants', is to invite retaliation beyond being dismissed as 'ordinary' or 'average'. To assume equality with just another citizen is to risk becoming a Douglass Mackey, facing a 10 year prison tern for posting a satirical meme about Hillary Clinton.

The good news is we are each our own individual 'microphone'. Even without a radio show or TV network behind us, we can 'broadcast' every day to any and every one with whom we come in contact. Share with them perception may be reality – but not actuality. And there are more of us than there are of them. But our biggest problem is too many remain unaware they are not ‘average’. And we need to change that.

The bad news is time is short.

We’re at the start of what will be a significant new year. Make a resolution to start your own revolution.
