The Judicial Supremacy Lie
The current buzz concerns certain Federal “District judges” who issue rulings and directives countermanding presidential authority. Liberal politicians and groups ‘judge shop’ their ‘case’, and find some Obama-Biden appointed judge politically sympathetic (i.e., corrupt) to their cause, guaranteeing a ruling against whatever Trump directive has their panties in a wad.
This is the lie of Judicial Supremacy in action.
The Tenth Amendment Center, enlightening readers to accurately applied Constitutional principles, says this…
“An unconstitutional judicial decision is no more binding than an unconstitutional legislative act.” With that one line, Lysander Spooner demolished the dangerous myth of judicial supremacy - the idea that a court’s opinion becomes law simply because judges say so…The truth is simple and radical: the Constitution is the supreme law of the land - not the opinions of unelected judges.
