When “Common Sense” Is Neither Common, Nor Sensible

Misunderstanding will be fatal

When Republicans talk about Democrats, two phrases inevitably surface:

• “It makes no sense!” — applied to any liberal policy, statement, or action.

• “It’s just common sense” — used to justify any conservative position.

But there’s a problem: the national debate has long since detached from anything resembling “common sense.” In fact, when you strip away emotion and apply objective analysis, the Liberal-Progressive agenda makes perfect “common sense” — to them. It’s not about logic, reason, or order. It’s about power and control.

It’s unfortunate Republicans, Conservatives, MAGA — all iterations — still believe in principles like logic, comity, law, and moral order. That’s why they’re consistently blindsided by a political class that lies with ease, confidence, and zero remorse. Liberals don’t flinch. They don’t blink. They don’t sweat. They lie — and they win.

Is Lying a Bug or a Feature?

To the Liberal-Progressive ‘code of ethics’, lying isn’t a moral failure. It’s a strategic tool. If deception advances the cause, it’s not just permissible — it’s commendable. The goal isn’t truth. The goal is always power and control.

This isn’t new. The Cloward-Piven Strategy set the stage. Introduced in 1966, it proposed overwhelming government systems to force radical redistribution. While the original plan didn’t succeed outright, the underlying tactic — destabilize, overwhelm, replace — is alive and well.

LOS - The Liberal Operating System

Liberals are fueled by their belief that they are morally and intellectually superior. When their policies fail, they never accept responsibility. Instead, they pivot, defer, and blame:

• Poor execution

• Insufficient time and funding

• Sabotage by non-believers

It’s never the fault of the idea itself. The Plan is always perfect. The problem is implementation — and that’s why total control is essential. Without it, failure is inevitable. And failure is unacceptable.

The Moral Inversion

In this worldview, ego, hubris, aggressive ignorance, and megalomania aren’t flaws — they’re energy. Immoral conduct isn’t embarrassing; it’s a temporary inconvenience. The opposition must either conform or be eliminated. Nothing can stand in the way of the ultimate goal: unrestricted power, unchallenged control. This is the Liberals’ ‘Common Sense’.

That’s what America is up against. The part of the country that still values freedom and liberty is being outpaced — not by better ideas, but by a relentless pursuit of dominance; Liberals will stop at nothing to seize and hold it. Conservatives’ lethargic participation, dependably poor voter turnout, and lackluster candidates running hackneyed campaigns don’t stand a chance compared to Democrats’ unrelenting, pertinacious dedication to their Liberal mission.

The Left wants Power more than you want Liberty.

It really is that simple.
