What are the odds?

Heading down the home stretch to November 5^th, credible and incredible “news outlets” are bursting with What-ifs, hypotheticals, suspiciously sourced polls, free-floating fears partnered with believable fantasies plus a kernel of Truth to form popular Conspiracy Theories. Elevated blood pressure and the room temperature of formerly friendly conversation are two of the unsavory side-effects resulting from the malignant, purposeful conduct that has fueled the Government-Military-Mainstream Media-Big Everything Blob fouling America for the past century.

How did we get here?

In The Sun Also Rises, Ernest Hemingway answered succinctly and eloquently, “Gradually and then suddenly.” Although unnoticeable, gradually eventually leads to suddenly. It builds momentum. It succumbs to the compound effect.

While we’re doin’ our thing, great and evil forces are at work.  Whether it’s the gradual loss of individual rights or an entire country, it’s too late for rational corrective action when reality arrives.  You don’t notice gradually until it becomes…

With 4 words, Hemingway summed up ignorance, apathy, narcissism, instant gratification as well as a doomed country - just like weeds ruin yards and termites destroy homes.  

But once detected, we can effectively deal with weeds and bugs. How is an entire country lost without our notice?

The Numbing Down of America 

Think of the unspeakable events that happened in our lifetime. Consider the shock of the 1963 assassination of a US President to the 2024 attempted assassination of a former president and leading candidate. JFK’s murder was the center of the Nation’s attention for months. Until recently outed, news accounts of the attempted assassination of Donald Trump were challenging to find in a Google search; some AI programs deny it happened at all. Millions of illegal, military-aged men flood the country, heinous crimes, 3-tiered Lawfare exposed on the Evening News while ignored without interference or accountability by authorized agencies, blatant political chicanery, economic disasters building on multiple fronts, gender dysphoria and child molestation - once shocked, now shrugged.

How does this happen?

Unimaginable, unspeakable things are done gradually to unconsciously prep us for the next and worse, unimaginable, unspeakable thing. The degree of outrage of the act convinces us nothing worse can happen in a civilized society. Then it does. And the cycle begins again. Eventually, society becomes accustomed to this ‘next level’ of barbarity, accepting it as the New Normal until something even more outrageous, disgusting, and despicable replaces it. And again, the cycle begins, building to an unbelievable event, more macabre than thought possible, more unimaginable than the last. Then suddenly, the tyrant and his government establish complete control with the fear that the next worst thing could happen at any time. The numbing down of America will be complete. Obedience and Submission will be achieved.

The attempted assassination of Donald Trump was quickly moved out of the MSM’s A Block to make room for the unconstitutional usurpation of President Biden in the best high school Student Council fashion. From a national laughing stock, now with a complete ‘makeover’ broadcast in real-time, the New Candidate appears, allegedly without objection from 14 million Shanghai’ed voters.

The Democratic Oligarchy that fashioned what many call a ‘soft coup’ is having its convention this week. With Donald Trump leading in most even suspiciously skewed polls, influential people within the Democrat organization have severe problems with the current candidates and the controlling apparatus.

With “our democracy at stake,” be prepared for some cataclysmic events to occur “unexpectedly” over the next 70+ days. Stock market crash? Middle East conflagration? Another political “event”? Pick one, pick all.

With the Democrat's insatiable lust for power and control versus the enormous populist popularity of Donald Trump, every unimaginable possibility is on the table. Also, with a Donald Trump victory, there is a palpable fear among many high-ranking Democrats of being called to account for programs, policies, actions, and statements made over the last three years that, figuratively or literally, destroyed the lives of millions.

Whatever the results, the consequences will affect all of us, regardless of economic status or political affiliation.  

Situational Awareness is Job One.
