Re-branding the Democrat Party
After getting their butts thoroughly whupped in November, Democrats have been caterwauling and conniving ever since. As accurately anticipated, the Left has pulled out all the stops on all their organs in hopeful retribution for being dropped-kicked out and away from their monopoly on Power, the gateway to Corruption.
Many in the Jackass Party are calling for Re-Branding. These clear-eyed, soft-brained Socialists seem to understand the over-used Einstein (actually Rita Mae Brown) quote about “the definition of insanity” perfectly describes their post-election “messaging” and conduct. Are they on to something or do they just have a keen sense for the obvious?
“Re-branding” is often a desperate marketing maneuver for survival. Bud Lite, anyone? Now the idea has come to visit the Democrat Party. With polling numbers waterboarding at 27%, desperation, splits, and cannibalizing their own (Chuck Schumer) is their new DOS –Daily Operating System. Typically, this is cosmetic remorse: dramatic, attention-getting sloganeering and pressers with no intention of acting on any of them. All politicians do it, usually during their campaigns when Fantasy Land promises sound so good they win voters.
This time it’s very different. Orange Man’s return to the White House with both House and Senate control is political heresy. The emotive code word is “Fight!” “Fight Trump! Fight Musk! Fight DOGE! Fight MAGA! Fight This Existential Threat Our Democracy!”
What exactly is this “existential threat to our democracy” you blather about incessantly? Does “our Democracy” really mean “your Democracy”? What happened to your vaunted Tolerance? Inclusion? Rodney King’s “Can’t we all just get along?”
What is the “fight” about?
“Trump must be removed! Musk must be “taken down”! Stop DOGE! We must fight!”
“Fight!” – got it.
Fight what?
Are Democrats against a smaller, more efficient Government? In fact, they are. No Government can be too big for Liberals - as long as they’re in charge. Remember, Power is the ultimate trophy; Control is automatically included. According to recent DOGE revelations, Leviathan has squandered billions, maybe trillions, in waste, fraud, and abuse. And that’s without a thorough look at every department and every agency. Yet.
The only conclusion is Democrats favor waste, fraud, and abuse because they and their NGO buds are the big beneficiaries. With DOGE derailing the decades-long Gravy Train a la Taxpayer, regular stops to fill up the D’s favorite Piggy Banks are coming to a sudden and surprising end. Of course, privately funded Mass Hysteria has broken out in every partially full government office building inside the Logic Free Zone.
The Government Employee Entitlement Unions have thrown down their multi-colored gauntlet!
Fight how?
Judging from your actions – fire-bombing Tesla dealerships, defacing Tesla vehicles, verbally and physically abusing Tesla owners – your fighting involves property damage and physical altercations. Unabashedly, you speak into microphones with profanities. No Democrat has condemned these actions. “Silence is compliance”, right? Will this win back the millions of hearts and minds who deserted you for Trump?
You're so enamored with polls, yet they show Americans overwhelmingly oppose promoting gender “transitioning”, sexual orientation diversity, and “drag racing” in public schools.
You don’t.
Those same polls reflect citizens’ support for the deportation of illegal immigrants/gang members.
You don't.
This isn’t a messaging issue; it’s a policy issue.
Is this what “Fight Harder” looks like?
Fight with what?
So far, violence and obscenities, intimidation, libel, and slander are your weapons of choice while your actions are bereft of any appealing policies or popular ideas. Do you think Any-Time Abortion, confiscating guns, cashless bail, “free universal health care”, LGBTQ demands, and higher taxes are winning ideas? Or will “Orange Man Bad” return you to Power?
It looks as if Rita Mae wrote your playbook.
Fight whom?
Other polls confirm you’ve got a lock on most of the big East Coast-West Coast cities, along with Chicago, Detroit, and maybe Atlanta. But you want to “fight” Middle Americans, Southerners, and the rest of Fly-Over country with actions, conduct, and “ideas” like these? Spoiler Alert: “Fight Trump” is not an idea. Your plans don’t help, they hurt.
Re-Branding
With your dysfunctional party “philosophy” – and track record to prove it – “re-branding” is likely to have as much success as Bud Lite; it’s cosmetic, not a real change. It’s “lipstick on a pig” and Bud Lite is still just a cheap beer.
The four Biden years made an indelible impression on everyone everywhere. Only the Aggressively Ignorant and Terminally Apathetic – that 27% - believe you’re fine just the way you are. Only your practiced rigging of future elections could nab that Dog Catcher opening in Toledo.
With no intention to change into a Party with policies benefitting freedom-loving Americans, maybe a name change could help!
You’ve already got “Party of Chaos”; Lying, the official language; burning Teslas, the perfect logo.
So how about:
The Punk-Ass Party (PAP) has definite youth and minority appeal; Tone Loc could re-do “Wild Thing” for your theme song; at 59, he could pull in the Medicare vote! Imagine “Funky Cold Medina” at the Victory Parties! P Diddy might make bail!
The “Pro-Choice Abortion Party” (PCAP) might work. You own the position and “Better Late than Never” would be the perfect bumper sticker.
Personally, I suggest the “Big Binky Party” with an upside-down Capitol building logo. Imagine: upside down, the Capitol building looks like a big binky! That would instantly appeal to the young suburban moth…birther persons. Democrats love to scream and yell and throw tantrums whenever they don’t get their way – just like a baby with diaper issues or getting free food on demand! Instead of “a chicken in every pot”, you can use “a binky in every mouth”!

The Truth
What 73% of us see in the modern Left is failure everywhere. A failed legacy media, a failing Hollywood, and an empire in collapse propped up a failed political party full of failed candidates.
Every day you are showing Americans you are prepared to act out violently, like spoiled brats when you don’t get their way.
You’ve demonstrated you choose:
Dictatorship over democracy
Lies over truth
Division over unity
Fear over hope
Fiction over Science
Power over everything
You believe “change” is yelling louder; that more violent demonstrations and in-your-face confrontations are “winning”.
You’ve shown Power is not something you give up willingly, convinced you are entitled to be in control of everything.
You’ve scared the crap out of America, Democrats. We’re not likely to vote for you any time soon.

The Democrat Party is collapsing like the Federalist Party did in the early 19th Century. Martin Armstrong has been proclaiming this strongly the last several weeks and there is other evidence to back up that claim. I'll be coming out with an in-depth piece showing what is going on in America politically sometime in the next few weeks.
That doesn't mean the Totalitarian Left will go away though. They will just ditch the Democrat brand and re-package themselves (like you have already talked about here) to try and get some last attempts at re-building their appeal. Hopefully by then though the structures of tyranny will be moving from rapid decay to outright crumbling and they will lose any chance at implementing large-scale tyranny.
The Democrats were the party of slavery before and during the Civil War. The New England Yankees beat the Confederates/Democrats in the war. Then came the Republicans and Reconstruction, which was a disaster for the South.
Now, the Democrats are the Yankees and Techies. The Republicans are still neocons with a few Libertarians and conservatives in there.
No one represents people like me. The Libertarian Party is a bad joke.
This is why I don't vote.
PS: I paid our taxes today. I also had to deal with the CA DMV. I am in a foul mood.
