How About We Let The Johnson Amendments Bite THEM In The, uh, Wallet?
For those of us with enough vintage to recall Olden Days there is the recollection of the 2013 L’Affair Lois Lerner, during which we learned the degree to which any organization’s tax status was arbitrarily assigned based on political ideology. Apparently, this assignation is essentially the sole purview of a single bureaucratic cabal within the taxing authority, in this case, the IRS. Presumably, but never a certainty in the Age of Biden, if the Associated Association of Amalgamated Associations is engaged in criminal activity they, too, would be denied tax-exempt status.
If we dig even farther back into ancient history we come to the Johnson Amendment, a 1954 provision snuck into the IRS Code by Lyndon Johnson, who was tired of being condemned from the pulpits of Texas churches. The Johnson Amendment explicitly prohibits political speech from church pulpits (and so-called “non-profits”). Well, only conservative speech. Rantings from communist-adjacent churches are of course encouraged, and since these clergies act on their beliefs the leftist politicking from heterodox “churches” is legion. Conservative or Biblically orthodox pulpits are mostly populated by cowards who either do not have societal beliefs or do not speak or act on them, so they mostly remain silent in the face of mounting pagan tyranny.
What if…
But what if the Trump Administration took these lessons to heart and acted on them, vis-a-vis the ongoing alien invasion? Acting via Executive Orders is all well and good, but insufficient as long as the incentives for all the players remain in place.
What would happen if the L’Affair Lerner was cross-bred with the Johnson Amendment? The offspring would be a potent weapon in bringing the alien invasion to a halt.
Consider the self-evident truth that coming illegally to the USA is, well, illegal. A crazy idea, I know, but stick with me. Admittedly some sizable portion of the citizenry cannot comprehend this, and clutching Orwellism close to heart insist on referring these criminal invaders as “undocumented migrants,” as though they simply misplace their paperwork. No, they are criminals one and all.
Bring it home!
Now, suppose the commissar in charge of determining and enforcing tax-exempt status for an organization were to take a closer look at the organization enhancing, validating, supporting, and facilitating the criminal activity of the invaders. Wouldn’t these organizations be co-conspirators in the crime? If the answer is “Yes,” (which is readily apparent to anyone with critical thinking skills) then all the churches and NGOs who profit from and underwrite the criminal activity would be accessories to the crime. Given the reality that this spider’s web of interconnected undermining of US law is also fundamentally political, all sponsoring organizations are at the precise intersection of criminal activity AND political activity.
So, what’s to stop the Trump Administration IRS office of tax-exempt status (in the time of Lois Lerner it was The Exempt Organizations Unit, who knows what the name of such an entity might be now) from identifying and rescinding the tax-exempt status of any American organization doing the enhancing, validating, supporting and facilitating this criminality? Every churchy outfit would suddenly lose all the incentives to be lawbreakers if they suddenly had to pay taxes on their money laundering cash flow. This includes appendages to virtually every denomination in the US along with a host of NGO “charitable” groups like the Red Cross, many not-at-all charities like the US Chamber of Commerce, and dozens of others.
Remove all of these sanctimonious crime enablers from the equation and the playing field would change pretty dramatically.
Defunding these entities would go a long way to cooling the ardor of those determined to undermine the very notion of a nation-state.

It’s funny you should title this article as you have, with the operative word being, “old,” as in old tricks. That’s because there’s a really good chance that a child born in the last decade could easily, (were it not for real watchdogs,) be subject to such petty, “contrivances,” a.k.a. crimes, as those committed by Lerner, and a multitude of similar malcontents. A particular malcontent, much more brazen even, than lil’ ol’ Lois, comes to mind.
I turned 60 this past March, and only now are we going to see, (in severely redacted form,) the official accounts of the three most political of political assassinations in our nation’s history, those of the Kennedys, and Dr. King. Given the tumult of the Baker affair, the location of a certain grassy knoll, and the profit garnered by ownership in a pier in Saigon, is it any wonder that Lyndon Johnson came to power when he did, or where he did? (He took the oath aboard Air Force One)
Will there be an end, finally, to the political chicanery, or will I go into the darkness from which I came, not knowing beyond doubt, that Joe Biden was just as desperate as Lyndon Johnson to grab ahold of the reins of power, and that he used the deaths of millions from the common cold, (allegedly,)
to lock down the nation, initiate a mandatory vaccination program, and had communists in China handle the printing of 11 million duplicate ballots?
Any gambling man worth his salt, would put his money down on the darkness winning.
