Podcast guest Don Williams observes...

Don Williams, former Conservator, Smithsonian Institute, author of Saving Stuff, and Proprietor of The Barn on White Run, with several podcast appearances on BWW (return visit soon), sent the following observations on the recent Pollaganda piece. More readers’ reactions in Comments.

I agree that *at best* contemporary polling is agenda driving rather than attitude reflecting, but it is more likely to be a psyop.  Given the ignorance, stupidity, gullibility, and wickedness of the population I see no reason it should not work.  The level of pain across the land is not yet enough to provoke and reflexive reaction by the electorate.  

Given the roster of GOP perfidious poltroons I found it fascinating that the only Republican to lose his primary was Bob Good, one of the very few who was not deserving of constant derision.  And he lost only because Trump marshalled the resources to defeat him because Good would not kiss ass of DJT enough.`  I do not make predictions much any more, but I simply cannot see a path for the non-communist to win this November.

Trump's campaign is an SNL skit, as is the candidate himself.  It seems like they/he are doing everything they can to lower the enthusiasm of white working-class voters.  Regardless of who the actual candidate is for the communists, they will be the recipients of TENS OF BILLION$ worth of in-kind publicity contributions.  Given my contempt for the electorate, I fully expect them to make the most destructive choice.

Thought experiment - what does the "nation" look like in the aftermath of the Harris Administration?  Is it as simple as John Daniel Davidson describes in "Pagan America," namely a geographic jurisdiction that is belligerently hostile to faith, family, and patriotism?  If so, how do we best cope with this?
