Day by day, in every way - especially during an election year - Liberals in Government conjoined with the MSM use the fear of Anything, Everything, and Fill-In-The-Blank to scare us into voting for them; they are the only safe choice for the dark years ahead. “Saving Our Democracy” is #1 on the DNC Hit Parade, with Trump taking the “Hit”. Electing MAGA Republicans spells Doom for ‘our Democracy,’ economy, ‘women’s health care,’, The Children, and, of course, climate change. Racial equality will disappear because ‘White Supremacists!’. Without massive gun control, crime will run rampant.
Even with a practiced game plan fashioned after Lucy and Charlie Brown’s football routine used successfully against Republicans for decades, the myopic hubris of Liberals still amazes. The American voters’ aggressive ignorance resulting in terminal gullibility, indicts them as Accessories to Doom. Preferences reflected in the ubiquitous polls reflect they are deaf, dumb, and blind to the Government gang rape of the statutes of Liberty. One can only ponder fruitlessly how Republican voters never learn that Government power, sold as a shield against The Bad, always morphs into just another bludgeon to maintain control and advance their political agenda, ultimately resulting in lost rights.
Most reasoning individuals have long been aware of the politicians’ dishonest persuasions embedded in their sanctimonious narcissism. Unfortunately, when considering the future of the Republic, such awareness is rarely contagious. One would hope a shred of nearly extinct Common Sense would lead some to question the perpetual fearmongering that smothers human reasoning like so much kudzu, choking out even an elementary “Why?” when confronted with blatant lies via misnomers, sloganeering, disinformation, and now ‘deep fakes’ expedited by media partners that studiously avoid reporting on Reality. The game has worked so well for Dems they now run against invisible issues: transphobia, xenophobia, ‘white supremacy,’ TDS, and Supreme Court decisions openly attacked for not siding with the liberal cause.
As discussed in previous articles, Fear is the Government’s best IED for maintaining its overarching control. The collapse of the ‘will of the people’ in the face of non-stop government lies, disinformation, and social media skullduggery throughout the COVID-19 ‘pandemic’ will stand as a disastrous example for decades. Even today, as more and more facts about criminal acts by government officials are revealed, millions remain convinced of the government’s beneficence. The selective censorship practiced by the Government-Media cabal continues to work efficiently against any spread of accurate information. Government intimidation of social media, recently given a pass by the Supreme Court, will only ensure the travesty continues.
What to do? How to fix it?
A persistent problem in discussions about systemic change is the tendency to rely on incremental approaches that often have no meaningful outcome.
The very structures needing reform are designed to resist significant changes, creating a self-perpetuating cycle. Those benefiting from the current system have both the motivation and means to obstruct meaningful reform.
Large, established systems like the federal government have tremendous momentum that resists rapid or substantial change. Even well-intentioned reform efforts often get trapped in conventional modes of thinking, leading back to the same cul-du-sacs or dead ends.
Some ‘radical’ possibilities under consideration:
Constitutional Convention: While extreme, it could potentially reset the federal-state balance.
State-led initiatives: States could potentially challenge federal overreach more aggressively through nullification or other means.
Developing alternative governance structures that operate alongside existing ones, potentially demonstrating more effective models.
Emerging technologies might offer new ways to reorganize governance that bypass traditional obstacles. AI anyone?
And then there is the ever-present threat of Massive Civil Disobedience, a large-scale, coordinated withdrawal of consent that could force change, though this comes with significant risks.
These are not easy or guaranteed solutions, and each comes with its own set of challenges and potential downsides. But they represent attempts to think outside the confines of the great big box of the system that's creating the problem.
To do otherwise (i.e., NOT think) leaves Fear in charge, Inertia in place, and Doom as the final outcome.

Thanks for reading this far. Don’t fail to remember…
Great article and a very good summation. In France, July is riot season. Bastille Day is July 14th. Once the people have a revolution where they cut off the heads of their rulers and burn down the tax building (while also guillotining all the tax employees), the giddiness of success and blood gets in the people's psyche and culture.
Of course, next month everyone in France goes on vacation.
You know I like the alternatives and the underthrowing there at the end. Solutions, even ones that take courage and effort, keep the mindset from getting too negative :-)
