Now that the 30th (day) Anniversary of the Trump Triumph Trifecta is upon us, this would be a prime time for a serious check on continuing to wallow and swoon over all those campaign promises coming true. Facts are mounting that the opposite may be much more likely.

All the “Trump-ets” and some who just fell out of a coconut tree are in eager anticipation of Jan 20 and the Day One promises President-Elect Trump has made; not to mention the not-so-subtle hints the Musk-Ramaswamy-Kennedy Troika has been dropping like lead balloons all across the Great Swamp. In speeches before and after 11/5, Trump spoke of drilling for more American energy, lowering taxes, lowering inflation, finishing the wall, mass deportation of illegal immigrants, saving Social Security and Medicare, ending the war in Ukraine, and keeping the U.S. out of World War Three.

Some other USDA Prime examples:

Eliminate the Dept of Education

Eliminate taxes on tips, overtime, Social Security

Eliminate the IRS

Impose tariffs

Many of Trump’s other goals would be achieved by massive deregulation of the bloated ‘administrative state’, the headwaters of the costly intrusive regulations crafted by un-elected career bureaucrats responsible for the shrinking paychecks of the rapidly dwindling Middle Class.

With this accomplishment, fellow travelers keep more of what we earn by amputating the unconstitutional resource-sucking leeches from our businesses, salaries, savings, and investments. Lowering the cost of gasoline, utilities, and groceries while restraining inflation and profligate government spending – what’s not to love? This is the Trump “vibe” even TDS suffers will enjoy.

What could go wrong?

Only a lot.

You didn’t think the Left & Co. would spend the next 4 years on the View, CNN, and MSNBC looking for whom to blame for 11/5, did you?

Behind all the headlines about Trump’s cabinet picks, football playoffs, and holiday travel woes, here’s some of the skullduggery, chicanery, and jiggery-pokery the Other Side has been working on since the Harris-Walz Traveling Horror Show brought down the Curtain of Mercy.

*One ‘war-gamed’ speculation: Biden’s continues provocation of Russia to goad Putin to attack a NATO country - like Poland, currently used for staging ATACMS. Such an attack would compel NATO to respond (see NATO: Article 5) and Game On. Regardless of the Biden or Harris riddle, Trump's inauguration must be postponed. That would initiate serious ‘domestic unrest’ aka Civil War. But don’t bother writing an ending to that; everyone who has given it serious consideration admits it’s a non-starter; possible but highly improbable.

Some serious things seriously happening:

*No less than 4 governors and at least 1 mayor have declared they will resist any efforts by the Trump administration to remove illegal immigrants from their Sanctuary Cities or states. Governors Gavin Newsome (CA), JB Pritzker (IL), Gretchen Whitmer (MI), Kathy Hochul (NY), Phil Murphy (NJ), Maura Healy (MA), and one Colorado mayor have made dramatic statements of intended “resistance” to Trump’s deportation plans. Both sides have “experts” saying the other side is blowing smoke. Regardless, considering the statements of Border Czar, Tom Homan, any such interference would have serious downside consequences. How responsive citizens could be on either side could determine just how bad the situation might become. It’s logical to presume Soros-backed and other NGO’s have the money and manpower to create maximum opposition and local disruption.

*On a more local scale, Trump’s problems with promise fulfillment will meet strong headwinds within his own Party, specifically in the new Republican-controlled Senate. While counter-intuitive, Never-Trumpers still in office by not having to stand for re-election this year, have already taken up ‘roadblock’ positions to stifle Trump’s plans to shrink Government and crimp the Deep State which runs the ‘important parts’ of the Logic Free Zone.

*KY Sen. Mitch McConnell (82), not on Trump’s Besties list, will become chairman of the Defense Appropriations Subcommittee and the powerful Rules Committee when the new Congress convenes in January. Stories abound of McConnel using his position at the Senate Leadership Fund to financially starve the re-election campaigns of several Republicans who opposed his favorite legislation. “Mitch McConnell runs the largest Republican super PAC in the country and has $400 million but that super PAC is used to reward the Republican senators who obey him and to punish those who dare to stand up to him,” (Ted Cruz). In his new biography, McConnel stated Trump was ““stupid as well as being ill-tempered,” a “despicable human being” and a “narcissist,”.

Occasional podcast guest, Don Williams opined: “If the GOP senators do indeed select a McConnell acolyte to be the next majority leader, DJT will have the first irrefutable proofs of this cycle that the problem is the GOP officeholders. Thune…will obstruct [Trump’s] legislative agenda at every turn as [his] fealty is not to [Trump], their constituents, or even the hilariously quaint notion of The US Constitution — their loyalty lies with K Street.

The Senate are arrogant narcissists who have worked the system all of their lives. They are the Club that you and I and the rest of the 330 million US citizens are not in

All may not be lost. As Don continued: “…while [Trump] will not be able to abolish the DOJ/FBI a couple of things are definitely within his purview therein. First, unleash the FBI to begin a high-profile and loudly publicized investigation of Elaine Chow and her family. DJT tried to play nice with McConnell during the 45 term by appointing his wife to the Cabinet and that got him nowhere. The time for niceness is over, the time of justice is at hand. And if the FBI finds evidence of ChiCom influence peddling via Chow's father's family? Oh well, sucks to be her or her husband. This path has multiple advantages to DJT - it absolutely punishes one political enemy while firing a shot across the bow of the rest, plus by going after a prominent GOP asshole it sends a signal to the normies that he is being non-ideological and non-partisan.”

I would add to the list Nancy Pelosi (chauffeur, insider trading), Eric Swalwell (the Fang Fang dalliance), and all the relatives that comprise the Biden Crime Family. Democrats and their foghorn MSM will scream “RETRIBUTION!” No, when laws are broken, it’s called Justice.

*More bad news: Sen. Susan Collins (73), (alleged Republican/ME who didn’t endorse Trump in 2016 or this year) currently holds the top Republican slot on the Defense Subcommittee, which drafts the Pentagon’s annual spending bill, worth $825 billion. Collins will become chairwoman of the full Appropriations Committee in January. Sen. Mitch McConnell said…he looks forward to working with her “to accomplish our shared goal.”

Yeah. Right.

The Poster kids for Term Limits, they inspire confidence – just not in Republicans. As dedicated ‘Never-Trumpers’ chairing those two positions, they can put a shiv in any Trump plans to effectively trim Leviathan’s pork.

You can bet whatever discretionary funds you may have on that.

*Despite DC’s traditional Double-Pinky Swear of Loyalty to the Party and President, SD Sen. John Thune, the new Senate majority leader, has long been a Mitch McConnell myrmidon. Of course, with a voter mandate anything is possible, but epiphanies are rare in Government, especially in the Senate where most of Trump’s problems are already marinating.

*The ‘slim margin’ in the House is worse than a mathematical problem. While hidden and subdued, TDS remains rife in the ‘People’s House’. You can bet your Congressman’s Lexus there will be much aisle switching when it comes to legislation that could harm your Rep’s most generous lobbyist; K Street is the Swamp’s most faithfully represented district in the entire country.

But there’s more…

*While the eagerly anticipated Musk/Ravanswamy-headed DOGE program plans to be the Grim Reaper of Federal waste, redundant agencies, and similar pork intensive waste. The latest on the chopping block is the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), the model for wasteful agency duplication and regulatory hassling of private business. When added to those mentioned above and in anticipation of more to come, it becomes easier to see the Swamp’s natives are becoming increasingly restive. The MSM has actually been giving lead coverage about Trump cabinet nominees receiving bomb threats. While the the long holiday weekend, inclement weather and football playoffs has moved it to the back and off the Evening News (while the government investigates, of course), it provides a glimpse of the depths of tolerance the Liberal’s TDS can sink.

Before Election Day, many scribblers predicted all hell would break loose if Trump pulled it off; I was one of them. The level of denatured vitriol in the content and volume of the MSM’s daily excoriating of Trump and witnessing half of the public’s reaction, strongly indicated something bad was in the wind. And then, nothing happened. Outside a few skirmishes in Seattle, Chicago, and NYC, millions rejoiced and fewer millions didn’t. Those cable TV hosts with their hair on fire took a 48 pause to regroup, a few more days pointing fingers and tossing blame. Many on the winning side thought this introspection would result in a kinder, gentler, journalistically objective MSM. With tanking ratings, MSNBC’s Mourning Joe and Morbid Mika flew down to Mar-A-Lago to kiss Trump’s ass ring to save their gig; the move lost them even more viewers. As of this writing, Conservatives are rejoicing in the news COMCAST has the For Sale sign hanging outside both MSNBC and CNN as ratings, revenue, and credibility seek new lows. Meanwhile, having learned nothing from what their screeds accomplished, their TDS is back in full dudgeon.

Everyone on the Right is rejoicing Justice and Karma are being served to those who so richly earned it. Let the Swamp Draining begin!

Despite my mostly inaccurate predictions, my Spidey Sense says otherwise.

Democrats, the Deep State, their MSM and NGO partners do not forget and never forgive. For them, Politics is a full-contact sport; Power and Control is the permanent trophy. Recent history has demonstrated they will do anything to attain and retain it. Anything. The Left has no manners, dignity, integrity, or morals. They fight to win and any cost.

During a Thanksgiving appearance at a Nantucket fire house, long after the embarrassing DNC coup that removed him from the ticket, rather than retire with grace or civility, Joe Biden couldn’t resist another swipe at Trump on “counterproductive tariffs”. “The last thing we need to do is begin to screw up those relationships,”. Maybe as a result of his public dotage, Biden forgot his administration maintained 300 billion-worth of Trump's China tariffs and even increased some.

Happy Thanksgiving, Garbage.

Principles play no role in the Democrat party. With Power and Control, they make themselves immune to the consequences of their actions, using Lawfare and other tactics to punish their opponents for less than what they themselves have done repeatedly.

Since the devastating loss, key players in the Democratic Party have remained uncharacteristically out of the MSM spotlight. That tells me the Players are planning their next moves. Some say they just don’t want the embarrassment. I don’t believe it.

It takes class and humility to be embarrassed.
