When one adds up all of the local, state, and federal government employees, and then adds in the employees of government contractors, this number is above 30,000,000. It is long past time to remove the vast majority of local, state, and governments and their useless agencies. We live in a Constitution Republic, where we once had an extremely limited government. But over the last two hundred plus years this has gradually morphed into an immense communistic styled big brother government.
To unravel and vastly downsize this gigantic and monstrous governmental overreach will create considerable hardship for many, even when the transition into private jobs is done gradually over 8 years. Together we will do our very best to minimize the discomfort these dismissals brings about, but this can and needs to happen so we can ultimately bring back true freedom and prosperity for our future generations.
Like the termite, the apparatchik never sleeps, their chewing goes on all night. Like Sam and Ralph on Looney Toons as they punch the clock at the end of their shift, your simple desire laid bare, to see either the second or third shift characters you know are there somewhere, and how you secretly wish to get a glimpse of them, and watch the chewing continue.
Excellent Apologue! Another Gem. Termites, indeed. I fear Sound & Light won’t rattle them, for these ugly, persistent creatures (except, of course, the Winged Reproductive with Eyes & Ears) are both Deaf & Blind, and I might add, Mute; Silent in their Destructive Darkness. But, alas, Sound & Light are not for the Termite, but Bombs Bursting in Air & Rockets’ Red Glare to awaken, again, the Sleeping Giant from Complacent Slumber, Blissful Willful Ignorance. Echoes of JFK “Those who make Peaceful Revolution impossible . . .” we know the rest. Revere’s Hoofbeats, the Call to Arms – but what then? Exercise the 2nd? But how? Exorcise the Demons? But Who? Who Bells Cat? At four score, a Patriot, yes, a Rifleman sure, but no match for CQB. Perhaps rather than Exterminate the Pest, Extirpate the Specie is more apropos. But I natter on; please excuse, maybe ignore, the ramblings of a frustrated old man.
