“The frustration among the people who voted for Trump… all know one thing: that if they had done any of the crimes commonly exposed on social media, they would be in jail.”
Former podcast guest T.L. Davis, purveyor of T.L.’s Posts and Podcasts, succinctly summarizes the nation’s frustrations are about to red line. As if the continuance of two-tiered Lawfare leveled against the “average citizen” wasn’t bad enough, it’s been exacerbated by “… minute inspections of one’s every action…somehow subject to some board or council that decides how we’re all supposed to behave throughout our lives…”. Anyone with an HR Dept. or lives with an HOA knows this in spades.
While Trump was elected with the highest hopes of “setting things straight starting on Day One!” that day and seven weeks of days have come and gone, and “things” remain un-straight. Many (over 70%) Trump-Vance-Musk-MAGA fans told the ubiquitous polls the new administration is doing a bang-up job. Compared to four years of the Biden “Walking Dead” Tour, when the Performance Bar was set “lower than a snake’s belly in a wagon rut”, that may not be a ringing endorsement. All the Woo-Hoo for the billions in waste and fraud uncovered by the DOGE Boys, the catapulting of Hampton Dellinger (now former OSC head) and James Dennehy, “forced to retire” as head of the FBI NYC – all appreciated, yet all ‘low-hanging fruit.’ A talented CPA (with similar Presidential backing) could have accomplished the same. Washington, DC, is an orchard of low-hanging fruits.
Good. But not good enough.
November 5th was a safety valve release, as long-suffering citizens ‘revolted’ successfully against the antipathy of the daily FJB Malaise and Dyspepsia. With a resounding MAGA Win, pressure built again, this time on a wave of euphoria: something was going to be done – finally – to right the wrongs, mete out the Justice Denied so deservingly for the privileged Elite scumbags living large on the public dime or shadow grifting side hustles. Or both. Recent revelations, a product of the DOGE Boys, tore down the curtain on the massive USAIDE scam of millions of taxpayer dollars wantonly distributed and laundered through countless NGO’s with Fraud as their business plan. Future (subpoenaed) bank records can show how many of those millions found their way into politicians’ purses. Naturally, the entitlement-minded crowd of public employees, thinking they and their government jobs were immune to reality, scream like a baby denied her binkie or a toddler told “No!” for the first time.
Over 100 lawsuits have been filed, searching for a TRO (at least). Despite those successfully “judge shopped”, many have been shot down by judicial refusal as even DC’s tilted courts see the simplicity of “serves at the pleasure of the President”.
Better. But not better enough.
Trump supporters want the Big Fish who repeatedly flaunted truth and escaped justice; some right there on the Evening News! All arrogance. No accountability. Are they untouchable? Last check, they remain untouched; some are even “News Contributors” as they flip off the new administration and the American public.
This is the angry boil of rage on the ass of public opinion. The Fairness gene embedded in Joe and Jane Sixpack continues under assault by the absence of prompt legal action.
Example: These people lied to Congress. None of them went to jail: James Comey, Christine Blasey Ford, Peter Strozyk, John Brennan, James Clapper*, Andrew McCabe, Eric Holder, Bruce and Nelly Ohr, Rod Rosenstein, Susan Rice, Samantha Power.
Why?
Where are the FBI swarms that made that CNN televised pre-dawn visit to Roger Stone’s home? Why not a similar visit to George Soros and his NGO’s? Where are the subpoenas for the Sudden Millionaires like Chuck Schumer? Nancy Pelosi? AOC? “Fauxahontas” Warren?
Adam “Russiagate” Schiff refused Biden’s questionable ‘pre-emptive’ pardon. Why is he still in the Senate? Maybe the biggest “scalp” of all, the detestable “Dr.” Fauci, walks freely among us. Sen. Rand Paul’s damning evidence is still waiting for a jury.
And then there’s the Release of the Epstein List debacle; AG Pam Bondi’s “Flop Heard ‘Round the World”. The ongoing gumbo of bad decisions and worse execution is generating a strong aroma of “Eau de Merrick Garland, with the Essence of Incompetence and a Hint of Indifference.”
OK – “it’s only been 7+ weeks”. Even your humble scribbler offered that excu…explanation during a recent podcast interview. These things take time to assemble and execute. Who can reasonably criticize Bondi’s job performance? For her, it’s a new “orchard”, over 900 (now former) ‘workers’ with unvarnished hostility to the mission, fluctuating priorities, packed schedules, and those Orders from the Oval. Still, considering the Over-Promised-Under-Performed Epstein Files flub and the absence of any clarifying statement, Bondi will have to produce something significant real soon, or she and the DOJ will become the first layer of barnacles on Trump’s ship of state. **
Kash Patel is marinating in the same brine of invisible performance. Maybe he’s waiting for his new sidekick, Dan Bongino, wrapping up his TV show this Friday (3/14) before reporting for duty.
The rest of Trump’s cabinet is performing at acceptable or above levels. That’s why the public spotlight glares rather than shines on AG Bondi and the DOJ. After being Biden’s primary cesspool for Lawfare, diversions, and distractions, it’s clear why voters have the highest of expectations – and frustrations - for appropriate retribution against those who arrogantly attacked the Rule of Law, working diligently to suppress rather than protect citizens’ rights.
Outside of posting furiously on social media – or writing Substack articles - all the concerned Sixpacks can do is wait and see,
But it’s becoming increasingly clear that the “wait” part is running low on time.

In my experience, big picture people usually suck at splitting a job up into individual tasks with achievable milestones. That’s what guys like me are for, but the bosses have to trust the experience and judgement of the people who make the rubber meet the road. An achievable schedule needs to be attached to any bright idea to build and maintain support from interested parties. It also helps the downstream people, think that press spokesperson, who can use each completed milestone to provide information to the masses.
We have a plenty of big thinkers in the public square, but few folks who have made things. With the Trump administration, we have a higher percentage of people who can, and have, built things. But the big guy at the top has not emphasized those traits that made him a real estate mogul. And his big-thinking underlings have little clue how important an achievable milestone is. All we little people care about is seeing something get done with our own eyes. Promises are not only irrelevant, but when delayed or broken can be demoralizing. That’s what Trump should be considering, and he should shape our expectations accordingly.
All that said, I’d sure like to see a 6:00am perp walk or two, just for the fun and excitement…
To be charitable (not my normal posture), three big reasons for the unrest are Trump's hyperbole regarding timelines, citizens' quests for instant gratification, and people's diminished attention spans. Given how many varmints remain in the bowels of government, I remain skeptical.
