This is my favorite Inspector Clouseau skit:

Great essay. FFS, the missing Guthrie's daughter makes a fortune as an NBC TV host. The Guthries have plenty of money.

It's a crazy world.

I read an article today about Ted Kaczinski, the Unabomber. Turns out that he was psychologically tortured as a teenager at Harvard in an experiment at Harvard sponsored by the government. Ted carried around that published psychology study all his life. The 37 well-worn pages of the study were found by the FBI in Ted's cabin.

Ted's first bomb went to that psychologist who tortured him as a teen. The FBI looked for Ted for thirty years before finding him due to his younger brother's wife. David, the younger brother, trusted the FBI (always a mistake). David asked that his mother not find out about Ted's capture on the news and that Ted not get the death penalty. The FBI broke both promises.

Never trust the FBI. It's an interesting read. A friend sent me the story, and I can't access the link.

The government is the enemy.

"Public Trust In US Government Nears Historic Lows" I don't know how to say this without seemingly insulting your post which was superb but this made me laugh. I don't understand how there was ever any trust in us government. I had trust (not total) at eighteen but whatever trust I had is gone. I read war is a racket not long after eighteen and then in the last twenty years became aware of the small hat question. I started noticing.
