The Afghan murderer was well-trained by US forces in Afghanistan. I wonder why he turned against his former friends and allies in the US military. I wonder which National Guard unit the victims were in. Did this NG unit go to Afghanistan? Did they work with the Afghan shooter? The Afghan traveled all the way from WA state to D.C. for a reason.

There's no excuse for the murder and attempted murder of the two NG soldiers. But I am interested in the shooter's motivation.

After the Vietnam War, many Hmong tribesmen were evacuated to the USA from Laos. I don't think they caused any trouble. Can't remember. It seems to be a US tradition to bring home allies from foreign battlefields. No idea why. Churchill sent the Cossacks back to the Soviet Union to have Stalin kill them or enslave them. No loyalty there from Churchill for his foreign allies.
