I haven't been in a Catholic church in decades. St. John's school and church is kitty-corner from our house in Healdsburg. I'm not aware of them sponsoring immigrants, but they might be. St. John's was notorious decades ago for a priest named Kimball, who not only abused children in the parish but stole over a million dollars of church money as well. The Mexican priest, who was Kimball's accomplice, fled to Mexico and was never found.
If J.D. Vance has hard evidence that the Catholic church is taking government money to sponsor the immigration of criminals, he should present it and prosecute the church.
