I came close to moving an old barn to a piece of property I owned once. I was in business at the time "restoring" Victorian houses and had a crew of guys who were willing to give it a shot once our season was over (summer work only because it was a resort that closed for the winter).
It was a big Beautiful old barn from the late1800's, the wood inside was magnificent. The owner just wanted it gone, but then changed their mind at the last minute when they found out what some of the huge Tamarack timbers were worth, the rest was Hemlock that was still in great shape too. They ended up selling it, I don't know if the new owners put it back up or just bought it for the timber.
Every so often I see one around here that's being sold or given away and wonder what it would cost to move it. I've got enough buddies and family and who have the equipment and who owe me favors to do it, but still it can't be too cheap.
My wife said someone should move a whole bunch of them and start a Barn Museum as a tourist attraction. Fill them with equipment that is period to when they were built, that kind of thing. I told her it sounds like it would be a very expensive, but fun, hobby. If I had Trump's money maybe I'd do it, I mean seriously, who doesn't like barns?
You don't see any of the really big old growth stuff around here anymore but it's still around. I picked up a bunch up from our local conservation club and planted them in some lowland that I have, it's one of the few trees that can handle "wet feet". It won't grow in a straight up swamp but close to it. Time will tell how many make it, deer got a few of them already.
I was surprised, like Hugh Hefner in a nunnery, to see a Tamarack tree on our town Plaza here in Healdsburg, CA. There were lots of Tamarack trees in the Huckleberry Mountains outside of Spokane, WA. There were some old pioneer cabins made out of huge Tamarack logs.
Obama just sold his Martha's Vineyard mansion, where his chef died mysteriously, to Wexer, Epstein's buddy-boy. LOL! It's hilarious.
The Revolutionary War was the only good war with a good outcome, kinda for a while. The merchants can arm themselves against the Barbary Pirates, pay bribes, or not trade with Europe.
In the War of 1812, again, the merchants could arm themselves or not trade with Britain. Britain wouldn't last long without American trade.
WWII, what were Americans doing in the Hawaiian Islands and the Philippines? These were conquered territories.
The Mexican War of 1846-48 was a war crime. I live in California. California would have eventually declared its independence from Mexico (Bear Republic) and become independent. Which I wish it were today! Every year, Californians send billions of dollars in taxes to DC that we don't get back. Ya'll are freeloaders on us, Calis. Yet, ya'll hate Californians. Typical.
I checked out his site, Don's barn is very cool.

You two should chat/correspond. Who knows what it could lead to???
Wow! Tamarack. I haven't heard that word since I left Washington State.
