A very good article which accurately describes the current situation in Washington D.C. The financial debt disaster is also there looming in the background. The economy is in a recession and has been for two years. Real wages are down by 2.5%. The dollar has lost 20% of its value during the Biden/Harris reign. People are fed up. The elites/Bumbledicks/Big Boys are worried maybe even scared.
The table is set for chaos.
Throughout history all Republics end in dictatorships. The questions are:
A: Does the United States stay united?
B: Will the dictator be Marcus Aurelius or Joseph Stalin?
C: Do the Powers that Be hit the Nuclear Button?
D: Do Americans regain liberty, free markets, and sound money?
It won't be Marcus Aurelius. The low quality greedy power mongers don't know who he is and don't care. They do know who stalin was and admire the mass murders and gulag that stalin did so well.
Frankly, I can't define "widespread". At least not on a family-friendly platform. Across the spectrum, there are WIDE differences of opinion - from folk songs and marshmallows to martial law and curfews. At least it won't take long to find out!
"Spontaneous" riots take a while to organize, I wouldn't assume they will take place before Trump takes office, that way he can be the "fascist", who has to deal with them.
Has there ever been a fair and honest election in the U.S.? How would you know? Really, what evidence does anyone have that any election has been what it was claimed to be?
I'm not a voter, but I'm sympathetic to people who see the election as yet another way that overlords oppress people by promising one thing (a fair vote) and delivering something corrupt. I'm simply not sure such a thing (a fair and honest election) has ever existed and could even be feasible.
sigh
just that and shake your head, the depth and breadth of evil is hard to believe.

wilson, Some Americans consider Trump to be a Marcus Aurelius.
well God love them for that. Just because I don’t see it doesn’t mean it isn’t true.
I don’t believe there will be WIDESPREAD rioting, although the gnashing of teeth will keep us all awake for a few days…

I wish there were citizen militias like in the old days where we can take up our arms and defend the country…
Frank, citizen militias may be coming to a county near you.
Brian, LOL at "widespread" joke.

Lock and load, Amigos.
