Above is the link to Jim Quinn's blog, "The Burning Platform." I've always enjoyed his writing. The Ron Paul Liberty Report highlighted Quinn's latest article on their program today. I'm looking forward to reading the article.
Thanks, Brian, for giving Jim Quinn some praise and exposure.
Speaking of burning platforms, the "Deepwater Horizon" movie is very good.
Brian, Yeah, I missed the link, but I have it bookmarked. I've read Jim Quinn's articles about the four turnings. Martin Armstrong also believes that society goes in cycles. Both agree that we are at the beginning of the worst cycle when everything goes to shit. The American Civil War and WWI & II are examples of other times everything went to shit.
Reminds me of a washing machine.
"Oh, no, Martha. The washer is starting the Shit Cycle."
Hopefully, mankind can survive this Fourth Turning, but with nukes and germs and modern society's vulnerabilities... who knows?
I interviewed Strauss and Howe on WWRC/DC when The Fourth Tunrning paperback rolled out in 1997. Not getting a copy to read until two days before the chat was not one of my finest moments. Fortunately, my partner had a deep background in financial matters. I learned a ton, and he saved the show! I still have the copy and notes.

Thanks. You may have missed Jim's blog is linked to his name at the end of the excerpt. I've added specific language for anyone else who missed it.
