Well, it’s all over but the shouting; Trumpian celebrations continue unabated! At least it’s all over without a shooting. We’ll never know how many were holding their breath over that. Ma Nature may have helped. Or was it Chemtrails Over Washington?!
Whatever.
It didn’t take long for all the bitchin’ to start; hairsplitting the irrelevant and immaterial hasn’t gone out of style at the MSM. From Carrie Underwood (gasp!) to political programming through prayer (MSNBC) to pearl-clutching about what an EO might mean for the DEI and LGBTQRST crowd (also MSNBC), salient points raised in Trump’s speech were mostly glossed over (FOX excepted).
Whatever hope for post-election introspection fostering a soupcon of comity still existing by 1P was dashed to smithereens by 1:05. Still, camera-catching Side-Eye envy from the Left Outs, partisan Applauding Paralysis immobilizing the hands of the Front Row “Formers”, the rude smiles and unveiled snarky comments of the We Don’t Give a Damn set showed on national TV, Biz As Usual never left the building. Democrats were encouraged to dress in black for the occasion.
How…mature.
The Presidential pardons, especially last-minute Family Friendly Pre-Emptive Pardons, need a great big public outing and damning from every media source in existence – even the notorious ABCNBCCBSNPRCNN (MSNBC not included for obvious reasons). Jonathan Turley had some choice words.

Will new Atty Gen Pat Bondi see it that way? Comments on X and other sources bring up a multitude of exceptions that should seriously interrupt the peaceful sleep of Fauci, Milly, Schiff, Cheney, Pelosi et al.
For FOX News, Britt Hume gave the idea a big Ho-Hum so that likely means it will be up to Watters and Gutfeld to do any heavy lifting on that.
Starting Tuesday, it’s supposed to be a rough day for illegal immigrants in Chicago. Or so Tom Homan would have you (and them) believe. Leaks have raised doubts but not denials. Irrespective of Chicago, CO, CA, MI, NY, NJ, and others have enough low-hanging bad fruit for Ice agents to harvest. Time will tell just how far Trump may have to dial back his bold campaign promises of “millions and millions” to be deported. Rumor has it farmers in Big Farm states have made it clear harvests will be difficult and fruit and veggies more expensive if Trump/Homan have their way. Maybe they’ll just start with the Gangs and Bad Guys.
Even there, there are arguments to the contrary.
More on that later.

I'll finish the Nickson piece tonight. I've been down the alien technology rabbit hole so many times over the years. I've stayed at the Four Seasons atop Mandalay Bay many times over the decades, gazing across the Strip to the airport. The five old 737s used to fly scientists, techs, etc., to Area 51 are parked there and make several roundtrips a day to the secret base in the desert just north of Las Vegas.
I even talked to a military F-18 mechanic who'd been to Area 51 to fix a broken F-18 that made an emergency landing at Area 51. The security is tighter at that secret base than at Fort Knox.
As for the Inauguration, I'll watch it tonight as well. Watching the slime balls live is too depressing. One gang just took over from the other gang of crooks and murderers.
Maybe D.C. should become "Pardonville."
