I watched one clip of the interview. Baier asked Harris, "When did you know that Biden wasn't competent enough to be President?"

Harris, "Donald Trump isn't fit to be President. Donald Trump is crazy. Everyone agrees that Trump is a nasty man and can't be allowed to be President again."

In the interview, Baier jumps in and interrupts Harris' answer. It was a jumble of words no one could understand as they both spoke at the same time.

Now, what I'm sure Brian Wilson would have done, and even a lowly cynic like myself with limited interview skills, would have been to let Harris ramble on about Donald Trump for as long as she wanted.

Then, when Harris was finished. I'd wait a beat, and then ask, "I asked you about the competency of Joe Biden and you talked about Trump. Are you confusing Joe Biden with Donald Trump?"

Now, that would have made everyone in the audience giggle and guffaw.

Without a clock hanging over you, that scenario might have worked. In fact, when a 'guest' is trying to run out the clock - as she desperately was - I would have interrupted with sufficient decibels and called her on it. "Madam VP, you are not answering my direct questions. You are pivoting to Trump and filibustering to run out the clock. You arrived 15 minutes late for this interview, attempted to cut the time we agreed to, and failed to provide any substantive answers. Since you appear to have forgotten, the question remains: "When did you know that Biden wasn't competent enough to be President?" The audience expects a direct answer. Are you capable of doing that?"

Analysts would say that would be rude and unprofessional.

I would say: she is condescending, combative, and non-responsive. She was invited to sit for an interview, not belch anti-Trump screeds.

But the (liberal) MSM will skewer you!

So what? I've been insulted by professionals. FOX is ripped at every opportunity.

The tape tells the tail...and the audience would have appreciated the entertainment!

Alas, I wasn't invited...

Brian, I like your questioning. Kamalatoe was late to the interview. I didn't know about the time constraints. I can't stand people who are late. They are rude and condescending. They don't respect me or my time.

Sir, this is America. We don't use the Metric System here!

DCS, LOL. I liked Brian's "wagon load of wet goats" analogy, too. Or is it a metaphor? I always get them mixed up.

It's a simile. But mainly it's a punch line!

I enjoyed this segment. I thought the interview was a disaster. As far as Brett....never been a fan and totally agree he should have gone the talk show route 👍

Thanks. Of course, each side thinks THEY did great and the other side blew it. Just read a WaPo piece saying Harris crushed it and FOX/Baier sucked. And so it goes...

Stay alert/ I'm still of the belief something big's gonna blow around 11/5.
