Corey Comperatore, the just turned 50 retired fire chief who was killed at the rally as he threw his wife and daughter to the ground and covered their bodies with his own. His body then caught the bullet that killed him. He is the hero of that day. He will be quickly forgotten. That is very sad.

Will the bullet in Mr. Comparatore's corpse match the AR-15 of the 20-year-old? Don't hold your breath for an answer from the FBI.

Bullets at American assassinations take on a magical disappearing quality.

My TwiXer feed was excellent yesterday with the coverage. Of course, that's because I don't follow any of the low-IQ, low-attention, low-effort, low-ethics, dull, shallow, mainstream media outlets. Their garbage work was in my feed, though, as everyone was eviscerating them for it. Good times :-D

Unfortunately, most are not as blessed as you, Dom, having to suffer with all those Low services. It must be glorious to be so blessed with such a superior IQ, not inconvenienced by any sense of humility. Enjoy!

IQ is only one of several factors I listed. And it's arguably the least important of them. But it's still a part of life and newsmedia, and the ability to abstract in order to frame and to solve problems tends to be a good thing. This skill is dispersed far beyond the intelligensia, and is almost undetectable in mainstream media, especially in times of crisis (real or imagined). Decentralized platforms like TwiXer let you see it in action :-)

Not what you posted or inferred - but OK. Have a blessed day.

My 1st comment > about my TwiXer feed being superior to mainstream media outlets, and listing several deficiencies the mainstream media outlets exhibit.

My 2nd comment > expanding on the one deficiency I listed that you focused on, and restating the superiority of my TwiXer experience.

Where's the perceived disconnect between my 1st and 2nd comments? I even kept them rather brief -- something I don't always do! :-D -- so they'd be easy to grasp.
