Brian Wilson and James Bovard together again to appreciate a 1st Amendment present from the Bench plus an a-typical holiday rant you won't hear anywhere else
And here I thought the Ross and Wilson magic could never be created again! Well it has - just in a different iteration of the greatest writing team I’ve ever seen. You guys just hit the mark on every topic discussed. A magical combination of insightful erudite writing skills and the unequaled Brian Wilson wit, humor and trademark light sarcasm. On a serious note, it’s sad that frustrating that more people don’t get onboard with some good old fashioned rational thinking. Keep plugging away; perhaps we’ll see some progress. We can hope!
PS: Brian, you were in Lousy Anna in 1971. I went there for the "Celebration of Death" Festival in McCrea, LA on the dangerous and foul Atchafalaya River. Were you there?
That was a helluva three or four days. It's all a hot, humid, sunstroke blur.
Timmy - 4 months to reply! Fits my motto: "We're prompt no matter how long it takes!"
Yes I was there - "covering" it for WIBR/Baton Rouge. First time I interviewed a naked woman! Only time I paid $5 for a bottle of Boone's Farm! Hot hot hot! Great experience. Never again!
Brian Wilson: Thanks for your reply! We hippies from Lincoln, NE had to go into the deadly Atchafalaya River four times or more a day to keep from getting heat stroke. One day I asked two hippie chicks (who were clothed) if they'd like to come to our tent to share our Dinty Moore Beef Stew for dinner. I was naked at the time.

Hope all is well at your pod!

The chicks turned me down.
Dont take it personally
It had to have been the Dinty Moore stew. I had a can of that once. Just once!
Great monologue! Well done!
