I am not a fan of the Jacobins and the French Revolution, but when chaos ensues sometimes the people rise up and take advantage of the situation. While King Louis and his child bride were having their heads removed, French peasants burned down the Tax Bureau on the Seine. The peasants sent every tax collector, even the part-timers, to the Place de la Concorde for their neck surgeries.
When Napoleon became Emperor he complained about how hard it was for him to collect taxes. All the tax records had been burned during the Revolution.
Part of me was hoping that the idiots in DC would give Ukraine the Okay to use long distance missiles against Russia. Putin would make DC disappear.
Would anyone here file their 1040 if DC no longer existed?
