Democrats screaming, crying, and whining the most about DOGE need to be investigated first because when all the crooks are mad, you know something is going right. https://tinyurl.com/tnvy436u

Two favorite Norm Peterson lines:

Sam: Hey Norm how are you doing?

Norm: It’s a dog eat dog world and I’m wearing Milk Bone underwear.

And:

Woody: what’s shaking Mr. Peterson?

Norm: All forum cheeks and a couple of chins…

"hopeful and skeptical" was what I was when I thought maybe Ron Paul will be able to audit the fed. I was more naive then than I am now. One thing I have thought about, not one single journalist has ever brought up the journalism code of ethics. In college in a 200 level journalism class I remember seeing in real time just how difficult it is to be true to the code. We had an exercise to write about an accident. I realized that, in this particular case, If I wanted to, I could make someone appear guilty just by the words and how I phrased the narrative. It was an eye opener.

"If I wanted to, I could make someone appear guilty just by the words..."

True enough - and too many "journalists" do just that. But to do so violates the early

"curious, objective, and honest" maxims. To wordsmith the facts to create perceived guilt would just be following today's format.

Wilson, do journalists have a code of ethics? Who knew? I hear that lawyers have a code of ethics. It must have been lost in some law library and never found.

Journalism codes of ethics are designed to guide journalists in maintaining high standards of integrity, accuracy, and fairness in their work. The Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) Code of Ethics, established in 1926 and revised multiple times, emphasizes the importance of truth, accuracy, fairness, and independence in journalism.

It encourages journalists to verify information, provide context, and avoid conflicts of interest, while also advocating for the protection of sources and the public's right to know.

The Global Charter of Ethics for Journalists, developed by the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ), underscores the importance of reporting only according to verified facts and using fair methods to obtain information.

It also highlights the need to balance the urgency of information dissemination with the verification of facts and sources.

Unfortunately, the new Code of Ethics is the 'woke' AP Style Sheet.

Good article. Now that USAID is being abolished, the money going to the MSM and shows like "The View" will stop. Will those propaganda shows stay on the air?

As for alternative media mediating some kind of rapprochement between Democrats and Republicans (Marxists and conservatives), I don't think it is possible.

In this video interview of Ryan McMaken by Tom Woods, they discuss the possibilities of future elections. The swings of the pendulum from far left to far right will become more extreme. The breakup of the United States is inevitable.

I suspect The View and those MSNBC atrocities will be gone sooner now that Trump has shown via his ABC and CBS suits the courts have lost their judicial patience with slander/libel hiding behind a camera. Poking the Orange Beast isn't producing the ratings it once did and to the contrary has now cost them Large Dinero and an on-going loss of credibility (if that was possible!)
